Da Hong Pao organic, formosa style oolong tea, China
SEK 284 - 100 grOne of the most famous oolong teas from China, Da Hong Pao, also called cliff tea, is grown on the slopes of the Wu-Yi mountain range in Fujian. This Formosa style tea has a fully developed flavour of roasted nuts. Its fragrances are mostly fruity with hints of muscatel. A highly complex tea with a long and slightly sweet aftertaste.

SEK 198 - 100 grHuang Jin Gui or “Golden Osmanthus” is one of the most famous oolong teas along with Tie Guan Yin from Anxi in Fujian province. This lightly oxidized tea with its yellowish green leaves produces golden liquor with a distinct Osmanthus flower-like aroma. The taste is rich yet complex with a flowery honeysuckle flavor.

SEK 158 - 100 gProbably one of the most unusual tea specialities in terms of production as well as character, this tea is produced almost entirely by hand in the Province of Fujian. Immediately after withering the still moist leaves are heated shortly in milk water steam, which conserves the pretty, lightly olive-green leaf and cup colour and invokes the distinct creamy scent and taste. Subsequently, the leaves are rolled manually and dried. An extremely mellow tea with a long sweet aftertaste.

JASMINE PHOENIX PEARLS - ROLLED JASMINE GREEN TEA, CHINA

SEK 158 - 100gFu Soonga is a very popular Assamese style of cooking for which young green bamboo canes are filled with foods and cooked over an open flame. Fu means to blow and Soonga mean cane. The tea maker´s idea was to blow smoke from wild timber through therse bamboo canes on the tea leaves during production. HOJICHA ORGANIC- GREEN TEA, JAPAN
SEK 109 - 100 gHojicha is distinctive from other Japanese green teas because it is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal, whereas most Japanese teas are steamed. The tea is fired at a high temperature, altering the leaf color tints from green to reddish brown. The roasting replaces the vegetative tones of other varieties of Japanese green tea with a toasty, slightly caramel-like flavor and lowers the amount of caffeine in the tea as well. Suitable at any time of the day as well as an accompaniment to meals.

KUKICHA GREEN - GREEN TEA, JAPAN
SEK 178 - 100 gKukicha or “twig tea” is an extremely popular tea in Japan. Made of stems, stalks and twigs, this particular tea is also known as “Karigane” as it only produced from Gyokuro, a fine green tea of very high quality. Kukicha has a very mild nutty and slightly creamy sweet flavour and a fresh green aroma, somewhere in between Gyokuro and Sencha. Kukicha is naturally low in caffeine.

SEK 336 - 100 gGyokuro Asahi from Uji is a Japanese rarity of the top class which is also called “Dew of a Pearl” or “Most Exquisite Dew Drop”. The tea shrubs grow in the shadow of broad-leaved trees and are covered with bamboo mats two weeks before plucking. The “shadow tea” develops less tannic acid but has a stimulating effect due its high caffeine content. The taste is very fresh with hints of asparagus, seaweed and minerals with a long sweet aftertaste. This exquisite tea can be brewed two to three times , each time extending the brewing time with 20-30 seconds.
