KUKICHA GREEN – GREEN TEA, JAPAN

Kukicha or “twig tea” is an extremely popular tea in Japan. Made of stems, stalks and twigs, this particular tea is also known as “Karigane” as it only produced from Gyokuro, a fine green tea of very high quality. Kukicha has a very mild nutty and slightly creamy sweet flavour and a fresh green aroma, somewhere in between Gyokuro and Sencha. Kukicha is naturally low in caffeine.
